In 2003 Elizabeth began working as an Independent Contract Nurse Practitioner in long-term care, home for the aged and assisted living and decided it would be time explore and develop her own business; Senior Moment Consulting, LLC. The bulk of work is performed in nursing care facilities, assisted living and recently a sub-acute rehabilitation center has been added. A side arm of the business consults with families who are unsure how to access the medical system with their loved one or those who need assistance in teaching or managing a person in their home. Currently she sees upward of 400 patients per month and consults as needed.
