Looking for a business Loan?

Whether you are starting up or business, or need cash to expand, at some point you may be looking at obtaining a business loan. Here are a few tips.

A loan may be obtained for a variety of sources. Some of these include:

- Friends

- Family

- Banks

- Savings & Loans

- Investors

When using family and/or friends, always use a contract that includes the responsibility of both parties, repayment agreements, consequences of not following thought, etc. It will have you heartache and headache down the line if there are any disputes.

Prepare a business plan. People loaning you funds want to know about the business.

Get a hold of your credit report and make sure it is as good as it can get. Make sure it's accurate, and if not, get any errors corrected.

Be aware that while your business corporation is the one getting the loan, you'll likely have to give your personal guarantee.
