Progress Notes - Issue 7

Borrow from Other Industries

Sometimes we get stuck in doing the same things over and over again, the way everyone one else in our industry does things.

We can often find new and fresh ideas by going outside of health care and adapting some of their best practices for our own use.

For example what can we learn from the restaurant business, the dry cleaning business, or even professional sports. Is there anything in the areas of customer service, access to care or marketing that you can use in our own business?

Keep your eyes open, you never know what you will see, and what you can learn.
